Although 3D is now common, not many artists use it. We haven’t seen it all that much in sites. The main reason might be that you need a pair of 3D glasses to see the content. Another reason is that it’s hard to use the effect to enhance the user’s comfort and visual appeal. The 3-D effect can make a site unique and modern. 3D graphics are graphics that use a 3-D images of geometric data that is stored in the computer. 3D computer graphics are often referred to as 3D models. The model is held within the graphical data file. A model is not a graphic until it is shown. A model can be shown visually as a 2D image through a process called 3D art. 3-D art is a computer calculation that, based on light placement, surface types and other qualities. The two basic actions in realistic rendering are transport and scattering. This step is performed using 3-D art graphics software. 3D space is a geometric model of the physical world in which all known matter exists. Any three directions can be chosen, provided that they do not all lie in the same plane.

Stereoscopy

Stereoscopic or 3D imaging is a way for creating the illusion of depth in an image by means of double vision. 2D images are combined in the brain to give the vision of 3D depth. This tactic is set apart from 3D displays that shows an image in 3-D mode. That’s how the viewer will see 3D objects being displayed by head and eye actions. Stereoscopy creates the illusion of 3-D depth from given 2D images. Human vision is a complex process which only begins with visual messages taken in through the eyes. This process ensues that the brain makes sense of the raw data provided. The brain interprets what the eyes see, the distances of objects from the viewer and the depth of those same objects. The brain makes use of a number of cues to determine relative distances and depth in a perceived scene.
